3D Fiber Tethering (3DFiT)

3DFiT is CarbonForm’s proprietary, AI-enabled process for manufacturing continuous-fiber drone frames. Structural nodes define the geometry, while AI-planned fiber paths guide robotic tethering to form a unified composite structure.

Without dedicated production molds, design changes can be incorporated more quickly. Frames can be wound in minutes, depending on their size and geometry, using a broad range of continuous-fiber reinforcements.
